Dinner tonight

Dinner was a turdunken cheese ball followed by bacon explosion.  Here are a few pictures of the bacon explosion under construction and the completed cheese ball.  Next time we will put hard boiled eggs and cheese inside the bacon explosion for some color.

Polishing the outside

Since the interior is now usable, I decided to spend some time polishing the outside.  That way the Liner will look less like a derelict and hopefully keep my neighbors happy, although no one has complained.

Fifty seven year old aluminum polishes strangely, to my mind at least, some sections look great and some look hazy.

Palm Springs Modernism

We spent the late morning and early afternoon at the Riveria Hotel in Palm Springs viewing the vintage trailer exhibit sponsored by Airstream Life.  This event was part of the Palm Springs Modernism week.  There were 19 trailers ranging from 1935 to 1973, Airstreams, Spartans, Holiday House, La Crosse Vacationer, Westcraft and a Bowlus.  Weather was cold and cloudy, but no rain.
